Pulp MX Fantasy Picks for Oakland

Some of my picks may change after seeing how qualifying goes but as of right now these are my picks.

250

Mitchell Oldenburg: He is my all-star pick this week and has a handicap of 7. So for him to get max points in fantasy he will need to finish 8th or better. I think Oldenburg finishes good enough to score max points despite his terrible weekend at Glendale.

Hayden Mellross: He has looked really good this year and has a handicap of 3. So for him to qualify for double points he will need to finish 13th or better in the main. He got a bad result last week but he also had to come from the back to get there. I think he has a much better week in Oakland this weekend.

Alex Martin: According to Racer X, they say Alex Martin is racing this weekend and he will have a handicap of 3. So like Mellross, A-Mart will need to finish 13th or better in the main to be able to get double points. I’m a little skeptical to whether or not he is fully healthy or if the injury may have set his speed back at all. We will keep a close eye on him in qualifying and see how he looks and whether or not we want to keep him on our fantasy team.

Ryan Breece: He didn’t have a good weekend at Glendale but at least he made it to the main event. He has been having a pretty good year so far and we think that with a handicap of 10 he will be a great pick for Oakland. If he makes the main he is an excellent pick to take. He will likely finish between 15th and 20th in the main and would be eligible for double points if that is the case.

Cole Seely: He is my all-star pick with a handicap of 5. Cole spends most of his time between 4th and 6th and with a handicap of 5 he needs to finish 6th or better to score max points. I like those odds and I bet a lot of other people do too. Pretty easy pick for me.

Jake Weimer: Still a little skeptical about this one so we will need to watch qualifying closely. He finished 18th at Glendale and has a handicap of 8 this weekend at Oakland. Glendale was his first race of the season and I am assuming his results would get better from here on out but that isn’t necessarily the case which is why I am hesitant.

Kyle Cunningham: He missed the main at Glendale but has made the main at the first three rounds of the series. He has a handicap of 10 this weekend so if he can make the main this weekend (which I think he will) he is an excellent pick.

Benny Bloss: This was his first race back since going down hard at the season opener. He looked pretty good at Glendale even though the result didn’t show it. He has a handicap of 10 and I think he gets into the main and gets a decent result and does good enough to score double points.
